About AmiFrenzy

Hi, I’m Marina Frenzy

I’m the maker behind AmiFrenzy. This is my cozy corner of the internet for anyone who can’t pass a ball of yarn without picking it up. Here you’ll find free amigurumi patterns, pocket-sized keychains, wearable crochet, and gift ideas, all broken down into clear rounds and stitch counts so you never have to hunt for a video to understand a single step.

The name is easy to explain. “Ami” comes from amigurumi, the tiny stuffed creatures that started this habit, and “Frenzy” is what happens when one more project quietly turns into five.

Meet the Maker Behind AmiFrenzy

Every pattern here is designed, stitched, and written by me. It started with one handmade gift, and honestly, I never stopped after that. Now my days are full of amigurumi, tiny accessories, and cozy things to wear.

The part most people never see is the testing. I stitch a sample of every design and count each round myself. If a step trips me up, I rewrite it until it doesn’t. That way, when you open a pattern, the hard thinking has already been done.

What You’ll Find Here

Crochet keychains like the mini bear and the owl with tiny wings, small enough to finish in an evening

Crochet clothing such as the striped ruffle skirt for sunny days

Gift ideas, including cozy makes like the winter hat pattern

Crochet patterns for bags and accessories, like the red bow handbag

How My Patterns Are Written

  • Written instructions come first, with stitch counts for each round so you can check your work as you go
  • Materials, hook size, and finished measurements are listed up front, so nothing surprises you halfway through
  • Beginner-friendly projects are clearly marked, and trickier techniques get a short explanation
  • Every pattern is free to read and make

Why I Keep Things Simple

Crochet should feel relaxing, not like homework. I avoid jargon where I can, explain the stitches I use, and keep designs charming rather than complicated. A small project finished beats a big one abandoned in a basket, and I’d much rather you come back for a second pattern than feel stuck on the first.
