Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site and its partners use them to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and show ads. If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in a cookie so you don’t have to type them again. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work as well without them. To learn more about managing cookies, visit aboutcookies.org.
Advertising and Third-Party Vendors
AmiFrenzy displays ads from Google AdSense and may work with other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show ads to you based on those visits.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. Advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, and their use of your information is covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.
Analytics
I may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Site Kit by Google, to understand which patterns are popular and how visitors move around the site. These tools collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. This data is used in combination, not to identify you personally.
Embedded Content and Third-Party Links
Some posts include embedded videos from YouTube, and pages include share buttons for sites such as Pinterest, Facebook, and WhatsApp. These services may set their own cookies and collect data about how you interact with them, as if you had visited their sites directly. The site may also link to other websites. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, so please read their policies.
Comments
When you leave a comment, I collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public next to it.
Contact Form
Messages sent through the contact form are stored on this website and emailed to me. I use your name and email address only to reply to you, and I do not share them with anyone else. Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and follow up.
How Long I Keep Your Data
- Comments and their details are kept until you ask me to remove them
- Emails and contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond
- Server and analytics data is kept for a limited period, according to the tools and hosting provider I use
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data I hold about you and request a copy
- Ask me to correct or delete your data
- Object to or limit how your data is used
- Withdraw your consent at any time
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights come from the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you may also have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As noted above, I do not sell personal information. To use any of these rights, email marinafrenzy@amifrenzy.com. I will respond within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy
AmiFrenzy is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Visitors
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where my hosting provider and advertising partners operate.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Please check back occasionally.
